Trend Micro Installation problem.

So the guy from Trend Micro asked me to do this:

"Please send a screen shot of your problems, and, or error messages ( if any ) to further explain your inquiry. Through this screenshot, I believe I will be able to properly assess the situation, and give a proper prognosis.
--- Steps on how to get a screen shot ---
1. Press Print Screen. The Print Screen button is somewhere on the
upper right hand corner of your keyboard
(Considering your are using a US/International/QWERTY keyboard.
The position of the Print Screen may or may not be in other
locations of your keyboard if you are using another type.)
2. Paste it on a new image using any image editing tool you have,
like Windows Paint Brush or Adobe Photoshop, via
CTRL+V or by going to the EDIT MENU of your image editing tool,
and selecting PASTE.
3. Please kindly save the picture as a JPEG file, or Bitmap file ( Jpeg preferred ).
4. Attach the picture to the next E-mail that will be forwarded to me."

I responded with, "You wouldn't get any errors noted on that screen print. When I start the installation program, the install appears for just a second and then disappears. At that point it doesn't install the program."

Trend Micro Internet Security Pro

Its the next day and I haven't heard fro the customer service engineer that was looking at my computers HiJack this log.

Trend Micro Internet Security Pro

For those considering purchasing Trend Micro Internet Security Pro for a Dell Computer running Vista SP1 - DON'T.

I spent 2 hours on Friday July 4th 2008, 2 hours on Sunday July 6th and and 1 hour on Monday July 7th and tonight I'm on the phone with them again trying to install the program. I call one number (1-800-864-6027) tonight and got referred to another number (1.866-722-4554 opt 2) then that CS rep referred be back to (1-800-864-6027). I have been on the phone for 1 hour 15 minutes waiting for an engineer. I called the number again and took another option and got through to a representaive. After dealing with him for about 45 minutes we ran Hijack This and then I sent him the log so he could analize the information and get back to me.

At this point I wouldn't recommend buying Trend Micro Internet Security Pro for any computer and especially for the Dell computers operating Windows Vista SP1.

Apparently I'm not the only one having trouble with TM see: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=986679

I'm getting very disappointed with this company and if I don't get decent resolve I plan on telling every one I know what poor products they produce and the poor customer service TM provides.
