Windows Vista Operating system

Cliff and Zoaunne came over tonight and had dinner with us. I cooked some steaks on the grill.

While Zoey and Z were working on Carina's shower invitations, Cliff left and went to a friend's house to help him get his computer working. As per a prior post on this blog, he bought a new computer with Windows Vista OS.

His friend helped him load the required patches to get the computer programs he likes to run working. When Cliff came back a couple of hours later he told me that his friend got those programs working. I'm glad it's working good for him.

A Day off of work.

This new scheduling system had scheduled me today as my day off instead of Friday. I didn't check the schedule on Friday and came into work today. Of course, right now I'm at home writing this post.

No Mames Vs The High Flyers

Tonight we played against the High Flyer's, another great team. I finally won my first game...got a Hat Trick (three Bull-eyes in one round) and shot a 2.43 marks per round.

Tom didn't show and we had Jill A. shoot for us. Later I found out that Tom was dealing with an emergency situation at the hospital. I'm sure I'll find out about that tomorrow.

Windows Vista Operating system

Today Z and I went over to Zoaunne and Cliff's home to help them get their computer working correctly. It seems that some of their programs just don't work right on the new Windows Vista operating system.

I'm not sure if it is their program or the firewall settings.

I did a little research to find out that there are some programs that are having troubles running on the new Windows Vista Platform.
