Setting up a garage sale

Tonight, Z and I helped Connie set up her garage sale. It is going to be held Friday and Saturday. We set up some tables and started to price items. She moves on Thursday to her new condo.

I start my new work schedule tomorrow. I'll get off of work a half hour earlier for only having an half hour lunch.

This has been a start to an extremely busy week. This weekend we have Connie's garage sale to help with, a Zaccardi open house, my 25th high school reunion on Saturday and Sunday there might be a pool party ot Zoey and Cliffs. That depends on Cliff gets his roof finished.

I went to the Hastings (Minnesota) McDonalds tonight, and ordered a Double Cheese Burger off the dollar menu to get a quick meal. The cooks at McDonalds put so much mustard on the burger I couldn't taste the burger and cheese. One of these days I want to go in and talk to the manager to teach them how to make a burger.

Z said that someone she knew who used to manage that McDonalds was trained to do two pumps of catsup and two pumps of mustard on each burger. Either they should make it one pump or get a pump that would put out less!

What a waste! I would have asked for no catsup and mustard but then we would have had to wait and doesn't that just defeat the idea of FAST FOOD!!

Pioneer Days in Newport, Minnesota

Every year the Zaccardi tradition is to go to Pioneer Days Corn Feed in Newport Minnesota. Pictured above starting at the bottom left clockwise: Z's Mom and Dad Myrna, and Bob, Z, Zoaunne (Z's Sister), Bambi, across the table table from Bambi is Guy (Z's brother) and at the lower right is Grandma Helen. After I took the photo, Kurt (Z's Brother) and his girlfriend Penny came. Then a few minutes later, Clark (Z's brother), and his girlfriend Amy and her son Josh made an appearance.

Zoaunne had the only Bingo win. She won $11.00. Zoaunne is the organizer of these family events. She usually gets there early to reserve the tables for the family.

It was a cloudy day and rain was in the forecast. We left about 2 o'clock to drop some items for Connie's garage sale that she is having on August 18 and 19. It poured as we were driving into Hastings. Connie showed us her new condominium. I'm glad she finally is moving out of that apartment and becoming a owner.
