"Danielle Thrush (I) am one of 11 contestant from all of the country that was chosen to be apart of Radio Disney's NBT (Next Big Thing) competition! Each artist gets a two week spot online at http://radio.disney.go.com/artists/nbt/index.html and on Radio Disney radio. Fans vote/rank each of two songs from that artist. The winner is flown to perform in a Radio Disney concert and could even get signed by Hollywood Records. The Jonas Brothers were found through a Radio Disney competition just like this one! So! I need your votes! From Saturday February 21st through March 6th you can vote as well as from April 4th through 23rd which is the open voting period.Every vote counts. Danielle Thrush, the 19 year old daughter of Laurie Thrush, Hastings (MN) Community Education’s Senior Center Coordinator is one of 11 artists chosen to be a part of Radio Disney's NBT (Next Big Thing) contest. Each artist is featured 2 weeks on Radio Disney stations across the country as well as on radiodisney.com. For those two weeks two songs that Danielle wrote & performed with her band can be ranked from one to five stars by listeners. Snippets of a radio interview she did and daily blogs will also be featured.

There is also another 3 week period to VOTE in April. The winner of the contest will be featured in an upcoming Disney concert.You can log on to VOTE as many times as you like between Feb. 21 and March 6 at radiodisney.com. and then again in April.
