Last night I went over a new chess opening with the chess club. We went over the Kings Gambit Declined opening. I found a good example of it and we went over it move by move. A couple of the kids didn't like it. I could understand their feelings but I know sometime in the life of playing chess they will come across someone who will play it against them and knowing of a trap is the first step in avoiding or overcoming it.
Next week will go over Bobby Fisher's Bust the the Kings Gambit.
