Rudy's Redeye Grill
The Rosemount location of the Rudy's Redeye Grill is a franchised bar and restaurant that has a large open space a tin style ceiling. The pricing of their food is in the $9 to $25 per plate range.
Here is how their website describes this restaurant: "Rudy's Redeye Grill in Rosemount is a casual fine dining restaurant serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. In addition to a beautiful dining room, there is a huge bar, a piano bar and patio. Rudy's is the 14th addition to the Axel's Bonfire family where people come by choice, not by chance."
Z had the chicken pot pie and I had the pizza. We have eaten their before and like the food. Our main issue with the restaurant is that when it is only about half capacity it becomes noisy. The acoustics doesn't allow the sound to deaden, The noises just bounce of the wood floors and hard ceiling. It isn't a place to go if you would want to eat in an calm and relaxing atmosphere over the evening dinner hours. Early to late afternoon when it isn't so crowded it can be more quiet.

Z wants to eat out at the Redeye Grill that is just down the street. I better get cleaned up now!
A Friday Morning
Today I took Z's car into Savemore Auto. The Battery light gad been on. Yesterday afternoon I checked the battery to see if the acid was low. The acid in the battery was full.
Walking back from dropping off the car, it was too early for the hardware store for me to get some Great Stuff Foam and some silicone caulk.
I decided to go to Starbucks to pick up a cup of coffee. The old Genz Ryan building still has a "Rosemount We miss you!" sign in the window.
I ordered a large coffee (black). The guy at the Starbucks gave me a Cafe Americano as well as a sample. I walked out of Starbucks thinking that the Cafe Americano was going to get cold before I could get to it. I gave the Cafe Americano to a truck driver unloading a shipment at The Redeye Grill.
Casey from Savemore said the alternator wasn't working and the front brakes needed to be replaced.
While they were working on the car, I put the new brass house numbers on the front of the house. Put the wheels on my Little Giant ladder, and sprayed Roundup on the weeds around the house.
Dan from Savemore called me when I was about finished spraying Roundup on the weeds around the house. The bill for the car repair came to just under $500.

Bowling Too???
Oh! If Dad would have talked to me last week before I committed to throwing darts on Sunday nights.
I suggested a work friend, Jesse, that he mentioned that he would like to join a bowling league when I asked him to join my dart team.
Nicole called me today to let me know that she was definitely on the team
Friday morning after I went to Fury Motors, I went to my parents house to visit and have lunch. They seem to be doing well.
Friday night and last night Z and I helped out serving beer at Burnsville Fire Muster. Connie Z and I drove together.
I had to do some recruiting for out dart team. Z called her family members to contact her cousins Dan and Kelly.
Nicole called me today to let me know that she was definitely on the team and gave ne her new phone number. So between Susan M. (a Burnsville Jaycee member), Nicole and Kevin (Nicole's friend), we have a team.
