Winter Car Wash
This morning I washed and waxed my car. Washing a car in Minnesota in the winter can be a bit tricky. Especially if the car is normally parked outdoors. If you wash you car on a cold day and leave it outdoors your doors and locks will freeze up. If you wash your car on a mild day, the water from melted puddles of snow and slush will spray onto your car from others cars.
We only have a one car garage for our house so in the winter the only opportunity to wash my car is on my Friday off. I washed my warmed up car at the car wash when it was just below 30 degrees and then drove it right into the garage. The blower at those auto wash places never seem to get the car dry enough. Once the car is in the garage I need to wipe the car down. I gave the car's finish a good wax with some Meguiar's Gold Class paste wax. I didn't have to apply that much to the surface of the car. I know this Meguiar's wax in this can I bought will last me a long time.

According to the AP "Clinton remains in favor of universal health care and has made it a central theme of her presidential bid." and Democratic Senator Barack Obama said Thursday after jumping into the 2008 presidential race, "Every American should have health care coverage within six years"
As Senators aren't they suppose to be putting through bills like Universal Health Care?
Senator Hillary Clinton is on the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and the Special Committee on Aging along with a Democratic majority in the Senate and a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives get Universal Health Care passed into law. Even if a George W. Bush, a "Very Lame Duck President", as a Fox News Correspondent has reported, Veto's the bill the bill it could still get passed by Congress by overriding the presidential veto.
Isn't it the Job of a Senator to put forth bills? Why would Clinton and Obama delay Universal Health Care for two years. Don't they care about the people who are needing Universal Health Care Today?
Two years delay could be a live sentence for someone without insurance. If they really cared they would be working and putting forth their solutions on the table for review by the appropriate committees and for a vote by Congress as soon as possible!
Who are they serving? The people? Not a chance. This only proves that they don't care for the people they claim to serve. They only care about their own political ambitions.
Both Clinton and Obama aren't worthy to be president of the the United States of America.
Now I'm not in favor for Universal Health Care, but them delaying opportunity shows how these two worthless Senators (either Senator Hillary Clinton or Senator Barack Obama), would be as President of the United States.

According to CBS Broadcasting, Clinton said. "And I would like to get back to building on what works … recommending the kind of bold, but practical changes -- like universal health care, like energy independence -- that were not possible in the first Clinton administration."
The Clintons had eight years when Bill Clinton was President and since January 2001 Hillary had opportunities to introduce bills that implement these "Bold, but practical changes." She is on the Committee on Environment and Public Works, the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and the Special Committee on Aging and still hasn't done anything to get universal health care and energy independence forward as law.
It would be a sorry state of the union if she won. She didn't have the courage to leave her philandering husband. She could have left him at any time. It wasn't as if she was one of those poor women with no means for escape, she allegedly to defend, that has a husband that sluts around, comes home drunk and abuses them.
According to Wikipedia, "...as a member of the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services she was in the know and supported and voted for the Iraq War Resolution popular names for the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002. In February 2005 she stated that much of Iraq was functioning well, elections in Iraq had succeeded, and that the insurgency there was failing. In July 2005 she co-introduced legislation to increase the size of the regular United States Army by 80,000 soldiers."
And the in January 2007 interview with Katie Couric, Hillary said, "Unfortunately, the fact is he is carrying out the policy. He already had in motion the movement of troops into Iraq," Clinton said. "What we're trying to do is send a bipartisan message, if possible, that we disapprove of this escalation, that we want to begin a phased redeployment that I have called for more than a year and a half -- that we want to get our troops home as soon as possible." Did she change her position the second after she voted for 80,000 more soldiers in July 2005?
We all want our troops home. We also want the job done right. We don't want the balance of power upset and evil forces to win the Middle East. If we leave the area too soon Osama Bin Laden and al-Qaeda will gladly move in and take the oil revenues to advance their evil movement. I think it would be a good idea to maintain a foothold of troops in the Middle East in the long term.

Leadership requires direction, initiative, and foresight. Hillary doesn't have the ability to look at the polls and see what in store in the future. The Clinton administration, which Hillary was a part of, wasn't able to foresee the force al-Qaeda was and their planning for the World Trade Center bombing in 1993 and Hillary wouldn't be able to foresee the next great evil that awaits to destroy this great country.

Lake Elmo Luck of the Draw Dart Tournament.
Tonight we had the Dart League Award Ceremony and Dart Tournament. I was paired with Nicole and we lost in the second round of the double elimination tournament.
Nicole will be throwing with Dominic for the spring season. So it should be Phil, Bart and I for the guys and hopefully Heidi, Dominic's wife, will be able to throw for us as well. She will have to get a sitter for their child so she can throw on our team. The spring league will be at Drak's pub again and is scheduled to start the Sunday after Superbowl Sunday.

When we got back to my parents house after the cruise. My Dad informed me that the PT Cruiser leaked some antifreeze on his driveway. He took the liberty of having if fixed for me. I really appreciate that!!
